  1. Analyze workflow functions and Aleph activities in Acquisitions and Licensing Department; introduce refinements where necessary and appropriate; coordinate redesigned workflow with other departments or units within the libraries.   2. Manage and monitor reclassification project for Dewey current periodicals in the Humanities and Social Science collections; plan and implement reclassification of Dewey monograph titles in the Humanities and Social Sciences collections.   3. Implement EDI invoicing and payment in Aleph for the major serials and monographs vendors used in Acquisitions and Licensing Department; monitor accuracy and timeliness of these vendor services. (Suzanne Kiker, Doug Kiker, Michele Crump, Jack Waters)


  4. Review and manage license agreements for electronic resource purchases; integrate the paper license files and archive scanned files so that only current agreements are accessible in the OPAC. (Jason Fleming; Doug Kiker; Michele Crump).


  5. Monitor the development of Electronic Resources Management System (ERM), particularly Serials Solution and ExLibris systems; evaluate for complete management functionality and statistical analysis of resource usage and make recommendation through Continuing Resources Policy Committee for purchase.   6. Monitor development of ITSO CUL software for use in refining the ordering process of profiled material; participate in design input when possible. (Michele Crump; Suzanne Kiker; Charles McElroy)


  7. Evaluate and report on the YBP and Blackwell virtual approval plans; make recommendations to Collection Management concerning maintaining the operations after Library West reopens. (Suzanne Kiker; Michele Crump)


  8. Evaluate MARC record services available through Serials Solution; evaluate the accessibility of the electronic resources with the loading of these records. (Steve Carrico; Michele Crump; Suzanne Kiker; Doug Kiker; Lawan Orser; Jack Waters).


  9. Encourage application of Macro Express to repetitive functions in Aleph throughout the library system; promote and share the suites of macro activities practiced in acquisitions, serials, and maintenance operations.   10. Work with FCLA to develop Aleph reports that offer statistical coverage of Aleph acquisitions and cataloging work; coordinate reports with Law and Health Science Center. (Michele Crump; Jack Waters; Suzanne Kiker; Doug Kiker; Jason Fleming; Steve Carrico; Lawan Orser).
