For University of Florida Licensed Electronic Resources

Access to these resources is governed by license agreements which restrict use to the University of Florida community and to individuals who use the University of Florida Libraries' facilities. It is the responsibility of each user to ensure that he or she uses these products only for individual, noncommercial use without systematically downloading, distributing, or retaining substantial portions of information. Acceptable use forbids downloading contents of entire issues of a given journal title. The use of software such as scripts, agents, or robots, is generally prohibited and may result in loss of access to these resources for the entire University of Florida community.


For Open Access Journals

Open Access journals are freely available to the public, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.

Please note: Open Access is completely compatible with copyright. Freely accessible journals are as a rule copyrighted, and all copyright laws pertain to these journals.
