  The theme for the 2002 University of Florida's Community Campaign is 'Gators for a Stronger Community'. The UFCC goal this year is $855,000, which will help to support 70 charitable agencies that have a significant presence in Alachua County. The Libraries have set a goal of $21,000 and 65% participation for this year. We're counting on all of you to help us beat our 2001 contributions by $1,000 with 5% more participation!

Each year we have been successful in providing more contributions to the UFCC agencies. Our continued and increased support this year will augment our community's ability to help our neighbors in need. Please join in replenishing the financial resources that benefit so many of our residents.

To sweeten the campaign, the Libraries are sponsoring a Sweet & Savory Sampler (more than just sweets) AND a Silent Auction, both planned for Friday, October 11th. Please join us for fun, good food, some great gift items, and a good cause!
