wWhy do people visit websites? (Information, commerce, entertainment)

wWho is your audience?  yourself? others? what level?  One-time, occasional, or 
   frequent visitors?

wHow will people use the information on your site?  (Read online, browse, save, 
   download,  print)

Usability is the measure of the quality of a user’s experience when interacting with a product or system.

Factors to Consider:

  • Ease of learning
  • Efficiency of use
  • Memorability
  • Satisfaction
Good design can enhance usability.
