*Use core for nonpriority materials when full authority support can readily be provided and K-Level when it cannot, and when this will give an adequate description in your judgment. Core or K-level will include more than required elements when you decide they are needed.

**Previous practice included adding a trailing "1" [one] to the end of cutters on original FUG records to prevent call number conflicts with DLC cataloging.

***Some series authorities are coded with DLC treatment and DPCC treatment (see MCQ9950 Presser collection). While our local series policy is to apply the DLC coded treatment in these cases, in OCLC UF's BIBCO records should reflect the DPCC coded treatment.
