Mickler Books for the Baldwin Library

and Mead Library

 

I. Baldwin Library Guideline:

1. Baldwin catalogers (Copy Cataloging SrLTA and/or Contributed Cataloging Archivist catalogs the items.)

2. Follow the standard BALDWIN Monograph Cataloging Procedure

3. In the bibliographic record input the required credit lines, i.e. 500 and 710 per cataloging guideline for the Mickler Collection

4. Baldwin curator/student assistant picks up already cataloged Mickler books, at the same time she/student picks up the regular Baldwin books.

5. Baldwin curator/student assigns unique Baldwin call number.

II. Mead Library Guideline:

1. Search and download Mickler books per standard practice.

2. Mead Librarian catalogs and inputs the required credit lines (500 and 710 fields) on each bibliographic record per the cataloging guideline for the Mickler Collection
