Dear Faculty,
Course Reserves will be migrating to a new course reserves system, Ares, on June 22nd. This new system has more features than our current system and is easier to use, which will be a great benefit to our faculty and students.
All faculty and students will need to create their own accounts using their UFID #’s and a password of their choosing, regardless of whether or not they previously had an account in the old course reserves system Docutek.
We are scheduling a series of training dates for faculty on how to use the new system through the months of June- August.
If you are not able to attend one of these training sessions this summer, we have created 1 minute training videos on the new course reserves site.
Ares website: https://ares.uflib.ufl.edu
Ares training videos: https://ares.uflib.ufl.edu/videos.html
In the faculty training you will create your accounts on the spot, view all the new features of Ares, and learn how to submit your materials and check their status online.
