ILLiad

The Interlibrary Loan Office of the George A. Smathers Libraries is pleased to announce the implementation of the new ILL management system known as ILLiad on May 6, 2002.

ILLiad is an interlibrary loan system developed by the Atlas Corporation and Virginia Tech. It allows ILL the capability to manage your requests more efficiently and effectively.

ILLiad has several advantages over the old system. UF students, faculty, and staff benefit from being able to track the current status of their requests online. This includes all past requests filled by ILL that were submitted via ILLiad. You also can cancel or modify your requests online. Another advantage of ILLiad is the capability of ILL to send your articles directly to your desktop in PDF format. You choose the delivery method that fits your needs.

We are excited about ILLiad and the opportunity to serve you. We hope that you will find ILLiad a valuable resource. If you have any questions regarding this or any interlibrary loan services, please let us know. We are located in Room 235, Library West. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Our phone number is 273-2535. You also may contact us via email at illoan@mail.uflib.ufl.edu.
