Major Goals & Objectives
- Continue to work with FCLA and the TSPC Authorities Subcommittee to refine Aleph and Aleph arrow authority reports for subjects, series/name titles and names (Gerald & Priscilla)
- Continue to work with Aleph and Aleph Arrow authority reports for LC subjects (Gerald)
- Continue to work with Aleph Arrow authority reports for LC names (Priscilla)
- Began working with Aleph Arrow authority reports for LC series (Jane Anne)
- Support the StoDocs Cataloging Project (Terri)
- After relinking of bib headings to authority records, revise AlephPro procedure for checking headings in Aleph (Gerald)
- Continue loading regular updates to GPO MARCIVE records (Gerald)
- Continue to work on eliminating the backlog of bib heading changes for subjects and names using NOTIS reports (Gerald)
- Continue the deletion of series in the UFU10 ALEPH local authority file that match the LC treatment; monitor the linkage to the LC Prod file (Priscilla, Gerald & Jane Anne)
- Continue to support the outsourcing of foreign language materials for cataloging
- Continue to support Dewey reclassification projects including storage and current standing orders
- Participate in on-going data clean-up to support access in Mango/Endeca (unit)
Other Specific Goals & Objectives
- Continue to monitor updates and coding corrections to CSUL Aleph authority resource file to help maintain authority structure for all headings used in the UF catalog (Priscilla, Gerald & Jane Anne)
- Continue to load records with added table of contents (Gerald)
- Continue to load microform analytics (Gerald)
- Continue to work on completing the backlog of records for UF ETDs to OCLC (Gerald)
- Continue to coordinate the cataloging of UF electronic theses/dissertations (ETDs) (Gerald)
- Continue participation in CATMET cleanup day
