Jimmie and Jorge have been added to the participants list for Digital Dialog meetings. At the March 16 meeting, Jorge spoke about the spreadsheet he's creating to document CatMet contacts for particular digital projects and status information.
Mark Sullivan is still working on the UFDC Endeca ingest and will notify us when the records have been reloaded in test.
Documents Cataloging Project
Progress has been made on many fronts to begin the second pilot for the project to catalog federal documents located in ALF. Hank, Jackie B., Terri, Cindy Frey from Documents, and Jossie Garcia will be involved.
856 Links for Retrospective Theses
In response to a question from Cathy Martyniak, CMG decided that Preservation should continue to follow the procedure outlined originally to put 856 links for the retrospective theses on the holding.
OCLC reclamation project
Dean Russell is very interested in our moving forward with an OCLC reclamation project. Working with FCLA, bibs will be extracted and sent to OCLC for matching against WorldCat and assuring that holdings are set properly. The project is free and will allow us to bring current OCLC numbers in Aleph that are out-of-date and to add OCLC numbers to records missing the identifier.
