CMG discussed last minute details related to Jimmie's impending sabbatical scheduled to begin August 17.
Branch liaison reports
Liaisons were asked to update the department and/or CMG re. relevant information items discussed at branch meetings.
8/19/09 CMG meeting with Dean Russell
CMG brainstormed possible agenda topics: offsite facility, 10/2/09 SUL TSPC Catalogers Summit, FY10 department goals, etc. in addition to whatever current issues would normally be on the CMG agenda.
Unit stats
Betsy announced that unit stats through June 30 need to be input in preparation for compiling annual reports and collection statistics.
10/2/09 SUL TSPC Catalogers Summit
The SUL Technical Services Planning Committee has scheduled an all-day meeting at USF for October 2. Jimmie, Naomi, Priscilla, and Betsy will attend. The purpose of the meeting is "to begin to standardize cataloging practices and expand collaboration statewide in order to achieve efficiencies and facilitate user access; to begin planning the future of cataloging services for the SUL."
