Library staff should now being using the Report Server for /all/
non-update ALEPH reports. We're asking that reports be run between the
hours of 7am and 7pm EDT. If you feel you have a report that will run
longer than 12 hours you should check with the appropriate FCLA
librarian to see if your selection criteria can be narrowed or if you
need to run the report in two or more sections.
There will be times when FCLA will need exclusive access to the server
for a number of days (full test and STP data loads, for example) or a
few hours (Tuesday afternoon maintainence window) however, we will try
to warn you as far in advance as possible.
I am hoping to make some simple ALEPH ARROW reports available in the
near future.
If staff are uncertain about which server they should use for a specific
report they should contact Jennifer, Daniel, Mary Ann, Ellen or me.
