2. Statistics & development indicators

Once you have selected a group or country to concentrate on, you may want to compare their situation to others with statistical overviews and development indicators.

• For comparison of cultural features, consider using the eHRAF Collection of Ethnography database. While not comprehensive for all cultural groups, it is a unique tool for indexing ethnographic information systematically and often includes the full text of a dozen or more important ethnographic works for those groups that are covered.
