How to Search for Russian Language Materials on LUIS

To find Russian materials in the libraries collections, you should be familiar with the University of Florida catalog on LUIS. If you need help, please follow the instructions on LUIS handouts available to you at public service desks in all UF Libraries.

You cannot search the Cyrillic alphabet on LUIS because all LUIS records are romanized according to the Library of Congress transliteration table (see reverse for details). Please be careful to spell correctly. You can search book and journal titles, author names, companies or societies in the transliterated form. The subject headings for Russian materials are always in English.
