HSCL's budget initiatives and proposed cancellations
- HSCL must give back $406,000; this money will come from collections;
- All SUL medical libraries have met and proposed a series of cost-cutting measures.

- Steve presented Jack's spreadsheet of electronic resources grouped by subject discipline;
- Spreadsheet shows resource cost, and which resources are shared with what institutions;
- Spreadsheet needs to go to selectors to verify subject area breakdown.

Updated cancellation list from the last budget cut
- Peter presented the spreadsheet of titles to be cancelled that was compiled during the last budget cut;
- Steve volunteered Acquisitions staff to update and reformat the spreadsheet for the upcoming budget year;
- Peter will distribute the reformatted spreadsheet to the selectors so they can confirm, add, and subtract titles from the list.

Aleph reports available to selectors for review
- Selectors may contact Jason for an up-to-date report of titles ordered on a particular budget in MS Excel format
- Reports include:
- Title
- Aleph order no.
- Invoice no.
- Aleph vendor code
- Vendor name
- Invoice amount
- Invoice date
- Aleph object code
- Jason is working on making these reports available as 'Aleph Arrow' reports.

OPAC records for individual Springer ebooks
- Sara reported that although there is a series record in the OPAC for Springer ebooks, patrons cannot find them since there are no records for individual ebooks;
- Cataloging & Metadata is looking into getting records for individual titles via OCLC PromptCat;
- Jason reported that it may be possible to create brief records using a macro.
