Fortunately, hurricane Jeanne damage appears to be minimal for most TS staff, at least as far as we know so far.

The library computers and network were shut down Sat late afternoon, and brought back up on Monday. The Tilt server is the only one still causing problems. All email that was not deliverable during the outage should now be coming through.

Erich is working on putting together a proposal for digitizing Florida newsapapers to submit to NDNP next week.

The Library directors are currently reviewing the state of active committees and task forces. Tom Minton is working on updating the staff web page (http://web.uflib.ufl.edu/admin/committees.html) accordingly. Please send Tom any changes or correction.

Martha noted that a charge to a revised Library West Collection Prepartion group was sent out Sept. 24. See http://web.uflib.ufl.edu/ts/lw%20collprep2.htm.

Dale is compiling a list of PeopleSoft problems that staff in the Libraries are having. This will be shared with a Deans group.
