Electronic Journals and Articles
The Libraries subscribe to full-text online access to thousands of journals.  Use links in the UF Catalog or search publishers' websites.

Electronic Books and Texts
The Libraries subscribe to many e-books and provide links to many freely-available e-texts.  Find links in the UF Libraries' Catalog in WebLUIS, and from the Libraries' homepage.

Many recent and all future UF dissertations are going online.

Order Articles for Delivery to Your Desktop  -- Some articles may be ordered for fast delivery for a fee using your credit card from services such as Ingenta. Telephone a Service Desk
Call whenever the Libraries are open to ask for basic assistance, to be directed to an appropriate library unit or staff member, etc.

Find a Librarian
The Libraries have subject specialists that correspond to most campus departments.

Renew Books, request Interlibrary Loans, etc.
Use online forms to request items that are in use or in storage, renew your books, request books and articles through Interlibrary Loan, and suggest purchases without coming to the library.

  • Research Gateway -- Find databases that index research in your subject or discipline, full-text arrticles, and online journals.  Check whether the Libraries subscribe to an index, database or e-journaldatabase.
