We are delighted that you have chosen to add your wall messages to this site. We truly believe that the wall reveals a unique tale of the Gainesville area and the richness of the tale increases with the telling.

By submitting your images and comments, you will be giving the University of Florida the non-exclusive right to freely distribute your images over the Internet accompanied by the relevant information on this form. The Messages on the Wall site indicates that these images fall under the provision of “Fair Use.” In addition, your image(s) will be archived in the holdings of the Alachua County Historic Trust: Matheson Museum, Inc., 513 E. University Ave., Gainesville, FL 32601. By submitting your images, you are certifying that you own the images and desire to post the images on the website and give the images to the Museum. You are certifying that you hereby irrevocably and unconditionally give and transfer to the Museum all right, title, and interest, including all copyright, trademark, and related interests, in and to the submitted images. Your submission of the images certifies that you know of no other parties that have an ownership interest in the images. The Museum may deaccession any materials that the Museum determines have no permanent value or historical interest. The Museum cannot promise the permanent exhibition of an image either on the Messages on the Wall website or in any other format.
