This directive on disposal applies to almost everything we touch, even (amazingly enough) cables. The only commonly used IT resources not listed are media (floppies, CDs, etc.). All other IT items and components must be surveyed through Surplus Property. In the Libraries, this is initiated by contacting Systems (for decalled IT items) or Facilities (every other IT piece or component).
