Purchases
Any purchases which go through Systems (like information resources or network wiring) must be started with their SysRequest feature.
To access it, point the Internet Explorer browser to SysRequest.
SysRequests that have already been approved can only be modified
by Systems personnel or departmental approvers.

When requesting equipment, use functional, descriptive specifications
like "2.4GHz, 512MB, flat panel" instead of model numbers like
"Dell Dimension 8250", because computer vendors do change the
configurations on their models quite frequently.
