Time Investment
Each department must spend at least 0.1 FTE per 10 1.0 FTE staffers
(at least 1% of total labor). The Systems liaison's FTE will be "lumpy":
more time will be required one week than another. Library administration
has indictated that Systems liaison activity is important. If you find
that you are not permitted to spend the time required to take care of
both those matters which Systems requires and the demands from your
local users, discuss this matter with the appropriate supervisor.
If this fails, then speak with Systems. Likewise with local users who
will not permit you to do what is necessary with their workstations:
first dicuss this with the appropriate supervisor, then, if necessary,
with Systems.
