Virtual Memory Settings

  1. W2k: Right click My Computer, and select Properties | Advanced | Performance Options | Change.
  2. XP: Right click My Computer, and select Properties | Advanced | Performance | Settings | Advanced | Change.
  3. Update the Initial size and Maximum size to the "Recommended" setting near the bottom of the dialog box.
  4. Select Set | OK | OK | OK.
