FDLP

The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) through the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) distributes government documents free of cost to designated libraries throughout the United States and its territories.These libraries are known as Federal Depository Libraries.

U.S. Federal Documents Collection

The University of Florida’s Regional Federal Depository Documents Program has online and print collections. Print materials are housed in the Florida Academic Repository (FLARE).  If you need government publications in print, you can request they be sent to the circulation desk at Library West for pick-up. 

Finding Federal Documents

Access official federal government documents:

Congressional Publications is a one stop shop for Congress in Context, Legislative Histories and Congressional Research Reports.

Internet Archive is an excellent source to locate digitized documents.

Hein Online is a legal research database that contains many federal documents. It is restricted to UF users.
