GIS Spatial Information Service Unit
GIS and Remote Sensing at the University of Florida is integrated
into many academic departments and research efforts. In support of
our patrons and the University's programs, the library offers FREE
GIS and Remote Sensing consulting services.
The GIS Librarian is available to consult with faculty, staff and
students on all aspects of spatially referenced data and GIS software.
The librarian can also provide specialized GIS lectures, and related
web pages. Large format plotting services are available for U.S. Government
electronic maps and images such as 2000 Census maps, Nautical Charts,
USGS DRG topographic maps and USGS DOQs.
