Reference and Instruction Services

Reference

The Education Library provides reference assistance and individual research consultations as well as formal class instruction and workshops. Other library workshops can be found at http://www.uflib.ufl.edu/jgs/instruct.html.

The Reference Desk, located adjacent to the Circulation Desk and library workstations, has staff on-call during the following hours: 

Monday-Tuesday, Thursday	11:00 AM-12:00 PM; 1:00-5:00 PM; 7:00- 9:00 PM
Wednesday	11:00 AM-12:00 PM; 1:00-2:00 PM; 3:00-5:00 PM; 7:00-9:00 PM
Friday	11:00 AM-12:00 PM; 1:00-5:00PM

These hours are subject to change. Normal hours and any changes are posted on the Reference Desk.

The Reference staff will be happy to assist you in all aspects of library instruction. Feel free to ask for help in answering reference and research questions, library instruction, accessing the online catalogs from home, and using any library resources.

Research consultations and formal class instruction

The Education Librarians are available for consultation with individual students or faculty by appointment.
