The University of Florida Libraries' is hosting a GIS Day on Wednesday, November 14, 2007.   The event will include guest speakers from UF's Geomatics and Geoplan Centers as well as interactive geocaching opportunities. It will be an opportunity to meet with professional and expert users of GIS technology.

Registration
Registration is highly recommended for the geocaching game since space is limited. Lectures and poster sessions are open to the public and unrestricted. No registration fee required for any session or activity.

Location
All sessions will be held in Smathers Library (East) Room 1A on the University of Florida Campus.

  PLEASE NOTE: Due to technical limitations, personal GPS units will not be able to be used for the Geocaching Game. GPS units will be provided. You must have a valid UF ID to exchange for the GPS Unit. Depending on the number of participants you may be asked for form a team of up to 3 people.
