This is a county-by-county running commentary on the status of Florida Newspaper Project field work, with summary reports and including suggestions regarding future work, when appropriate. And while some of this activity pre-dates the "official" commencement of travel, it all contributes toward that goal. Any county in which inventory has begun will have activity listed or a note indicating that none was needed. Counties in which inventory undertaken is (for all practical purposes) complete are noted as such.
