The United States Newspaper Program (USNP) is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities, with technical support from the Library of Congress. Throughout the project’s duration (1993 – 1999), the Florida Newspaper Project has significantly added to the national bibliographic file of U.S. newspapers represented in the OCLC database. Florida newspapers were cataloged to full level CONSER standards. Microfilm of newspapers was produced to national preservation standards.
