Course Description

The main goal of this Research Methods course is to give students the practical knowledge of how to find and use information for conducting effective research. Through a combination of lectures, discussion, and hands-on searching assignments, students will discover how to identify the most relevant library resources (both print & electronic) and develop effective search strategies to find quality information. Although the theme in this course centers on the subject of the Middle Ages, the skills acquired in this class can be applied to research in any discipline or course.
