If you find a reference to a journal that the UF Libraries do not own, you may make an Interlibrary Loan request. There is usually no charge, but be prepared to wait from two to four weeks.
This is a selected list of electronic and print resources at UF to help identify articles in magazines and journals. To access the online databases, go to the UF Libraries' Databases page at http://www.uflib.ufl.edu/databases.html and type in the first few letters of Database name in the Quick Search box. Click on the "Connect Now" hyperlink for the appropriate database. For a more complete list of electronic resources in this area, select the "DB" hyperlink for Multicultural Studies from Databases -> Databases by Subject -> Multicultural link. You can also try searching in subject related databases, such as literature or history databases. Licensed only for UF students, faculty and staff, unless accessed on-campus.
- America : History and Life Online. Includes current affairs, area studies, ethnic studies, folklore, historiography and methodology, oral history, prehistory, government and political science, popular culture, urban affairs, and interdisciplinary studies.
- Anthropology Plus Online. Combines highly respected Anthropological Literature from Harvard University and Anthropological Index, Royal Anthropological Institute from the UK. Anthropology Plus provides extensive worldwide indexing of journal articles, reports, commentaries, edited works, and obituaries in the fields of social, cultural, physical, biological, and linguistic anthropology, ethnology, archaeology, folklore, material culture, and interdisciplinary studies.
- Daily Life through History & World Cultures today. Online. Provides primary documents, images, maps, vetted weblinks, Tours through Time features, Spanning the Globe features. History, culture and customs are included.
- Ethnic NewsWatch Online. Provides a full-text collection of articles, editorials, columns, reviews, etc., published by the ethnic, minority and native press, covering a broad diversity of perspectives and viewpoints.
- Left Index Online. Provides access to the diversity of literature on the left, with emphasis on politically and culturally engaged scholarship and on significant but little known sources of news and ideas. Topics include politics, economics, the labor movement, ecology and environment, women's studies, race and ethnicity, social and cultural theory, sociology, art and aesthetics, philosophy, history, education, law, and globalization.

- CWIS Listings Index of Campus Wide Information Servers in American Literature and Related Fields, Georgetown University, provides links for several minority group studies from various University websites
- Glass Ceiling Commission works to identify barriers and expand practices and policies which promote employment opportunities for the advancement of minorities and women into positions of responsibility in the private sector. Site contains studies and reports
- Immunization and Naturalization Service is the US Department of Justice agency that administers the nation's immigration laws
- Lest We Forget presents "the history, culture, preservation efforts, and current events of African Americans, other ethnic, non-ethnic groups and individuals." Website contains original materials and a large number of categorized links to other online resources
- Race, Ethnicity and Politics Section of the American Political Science Association (APSA) represents more than 500 political science professors, graduate students, authors, and editors. Most of us specialize in the politics of Native, African, Latino, and/or Asian Pacific Americans; some study racial and ethnic politics internationally; some study issues of race/ethnicity in social theory, public policy, education, law, and political history
