when citing articles in its databases.
Chadwyck-Healey (including LION)
Chadwyck-Healey offers durable links to each of its articles.
These may be found at the far right top of each article record
in the hyperlink titled "durable URL." There is a simple
cut-and-paste window that opens if you click on these durable
URL links on each page of the resource.
EBSCOhost
Click on the title of your article in order to get to the "citation" view.
Labels for title, author, source, etc., should appear. One label
should be for "Persistent link to this record." This is the link you
should use for your URL.
FirstSearch
FirstSearch recommends the use of its generic URL,
http://firstsearch.oclc.org , for the citation of its articles.
Gale Group
Gale Group databases offer their users sample citations for their
sources (including a durable URL). Once users have clicked on
the source in which they are interested, the label "Source
Citation" appears just below the source's abstract. Additionally,
Gale provides a link with each source on "How to Cite" its varying
sources by MLA or APA style.
JSTOR
JSTOR offers its users with a stable URL for each of its articles.
LexisNexis
LexisNexis recommends the use of its generic URL,
http://www.lexisnexis.com/universe, for the citation of its articles.

NISC BiblioLine
Because NISC does not have specific URLs for articles, NISC recommends for its users to provide the URLs to the factsheets of the various databases to which the University of Florida subscribes. These URLs are provided below:

PALMM suggests the use of the generic URL for each of its various collections because the URLs for specific sources are too lengthy. For example, if you are citing a source within the Florida Heritage Collection, you would provide the following URL: http://palmm.fcla.edu/fh/ .
ProQuest
ProQuest provides its users with a "Document URL" listed under the citation view of its articles.
SilverPlatter WebSpirs
SilverPlatter WebSpirs provides its users with a URL hyperlink listed under the citation view of its articles.
WilsonWeb
Click on the title of your article in order to get to the "full display." Labels for title, author, source, etc., should appear. The last label should read "Persistent URL." Beside this label is the link "Click to copy the article citation link." This is link that you should use for your URL.
