- From on campus: The AFA Library is in Fine Arts
Building A (FAA) on the second floor. FAA is located just south of
Little Hall, in the Fine Arts Complex. After 5pm and on weekends,
you must enter the library through the adjacent building Fine Arts
C (FAC). Take the stairs or elevator to the second floor, then walk
across the bridge to enter the library.
- From off campus: enter campus from SW 13th Street
(US 441). Turn right on Museum Road. At the parking garage, take a
right onto Newell Road. Stop at the parking office to obtain a parking
pass and directions.
- From on campus: The Education Library is at Norman
Hall at SW 13th Avenue and SW 5th Avenue. The library is located in
the center building, on the second floor. Norman Hall is across the
street (13th) from Yulee, Malory and Reid Halls. .
- From off campus, from the east: Take SR 26, which
turns into E. University Avenue, through downtown Gainesville. Continue
until you reach the intersection of University Avenue and US 441 (13th
Street). This is where the University of Florida campus begins. Turn
left on SW 13th Street, then turn left at SW 5th Avenue. The library
is located in Norman Hall, on your left, on the second floor of the
center building.
- From off campus, from the west: From Interstate
75, take Exit 76 at Newberry Road. Follow Newberry Road (which turns
into University Avenue) until you reach the intersection of 13th Street
(US 441) and University Avenue (approximately 5 miles). Turn right
and go five blocks to SW 5th Avenue. Turn left. The library is located
in Norman Hall, on your left, on the second floor of the center building.
- Government Documents is housed on the first floor
of Marston Science Library.
- From on campus: The Health Science Center Libraries
are in the Communicore Building which is part of the UF Health Science
Center/Shands HealthCare complex located on SW Archer Road. The Libraries
occupy the first, second and third floors of the Communicore
Building.

- From on campus: The Journalism Library (Allen H.
Neuharth Library) is located on the ground floor of Weimer Hall, home
of the College of Journalism and Communications. Weimer Hall is located
on Stadium Road, just south of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

- From on campus: Library West is located on University
Avenue, at the intersection of 16th Street. The entrance to Library
West is on the south side of the building, which overlooks the Plaza
of the Americas. University Auditorium is to the south, Turlington
Hall is to the southwest and the student services building, Peabody
Hall, is to the southeast and Flint Hall is to west of Library West.
- From off campus, coming from the east: Take SR
26, which turns into E. University Avenue, through downtown Gainesville.
Continue until you reach the intersection of University Avenue and
US 441 (13th Street). This is where the University of Florida campus
begins. Library West is two blocks west, on the left side of the road.
- From off campus, from the west: From Interstate
75, take Exit 76 at Newberry Road. Follow Newberry Road (which turns
into University Avenue) until you reach the intersection of Buckman
Street (17th Street) and University Avenue (approximately 4.5 miles).
Library West is one block east on the right side of the road.
- From off campus: Enter campus from SW 13th Street

right onto Newell Road. Stop at the parking office to obtain a parking

- From on campus: The Music Library is on the second
floor of the Music Building (Room 231 MUB). The Music Building is
located on the corner of Newell Drive and Stadium Road, directly south
of Century Tower and the University Memorial Auditorium. The library
is accessible from the inside stairwell or elevator located in the
center of the building. Room 231 is in the southwest corner of the
second floor.
- From off campus: enter campus from SW 13th Street
(US 441). Turn right on Museum Road. At the parking garage, take a
right onto Newell Road. Stop at the parking office to obtain a parking
pass and directions.
- From on campus: Smathers Library, also called “Library
East,” is located across the street from the Institute of Black
Culture, at the intersection of 15th Street and University Avenue.
The entrance is at the west side of the building, which is connected
by a covered walkway to nearby Library West. Smathers Library is north
of Peabody and Criser Halls, at the northeast corner of the Plaza

- From off campus, from the east: Take SR 26, which
turns into E. University Avenue, through downtown Gainesville. Continue
until you reach the intersection of University Avenue and US 441 (13th
Street). This is where the University of Florida campus begins. Smathers
Library is two blocks west, on the left side of the road, directly
behind Anderson Hall.
- From off campus, from the west: From Interstate 75,
take Exit 76 at Newberry Road. Follow Newberry Road (which turns into
University Avenue) until you reach the intersection of Buckman Road
and University Avenue (approximately 4.5 miles). Smathers Library
is two blocks east on the right side of the road, directly behind
Anderson Hall, next to Library West.
