FAQ: E-Journals

If you want to see if UF subscribes to a journal online, try using the E-Journals page at http://www.uflib.ufl.edu/ej/. The page can be found on the UF Libraries homepage under "Journals" in the Find column. Once you've reached this page, use the "E-Journal Locator" to search for the journal by title, words in the title, or ISSN. If the journal is available electronically, you will see a list of databases that contain the journal in full-text and the years of coverage. You will also get a direct link to connect to each database. Once you have connected to a database that has the publication you want, you will be able to search for the specific article that you need. Many databases also display table of contents making it possible to browse through the issues.

If you do not find your journal in the E-Journal Locator, we may not subscribe to the online version of the journal. Search in the UF Libraries Catalog (http://uf.aleph.fcla.edu/F) to see if there is a print subscription to the journal, and to see which of the campus libraries keeps the journal. For the best searching results, once connected to the UF Libraries Catalog, click on "Journal/Serials" then use the "Title begins with" search blank.

I hope this has answered your question. Do contact Ask A Librarian again if you have more questions.
