Checking out books from the library is easy. Your library card is the Gator 1 card. Bring your books to the library's circulation desk, and present your card.

There are different loan periods for undergraduates, graduate students and faculty.

You can access much of the computerized library information from home or your office. Many library services such as Interlibrary Loan and renewing books online require an activated Gator-1 card. If you are prompted for a userid, enter the 14 digit number that is below the barcode on the your activated Gator-1 card.

Gator-1 cards are activated when you check out a book or upon request at any campus library circulation desk.
