Logging on to Library Databases

Presentation by Jana Ronan, George A. Smathers Libraries
I would like to show you how to access library databases from outside the libraries and the campus computer labs.
Most of the UF Libraries’ website is open to anyone on the Internet to see and use.  For example, anyone from across the world can search the UF Libraries’ catalog to see what kinds of things we have in our collections, as well as read about library services and policies. But when it comes to databases, the majority are purchased  from publishers and vendors with the understanding that they are to be accessed only by members of the UF community.  This is the case with Academic Search Premier and LexisNexis, the databases shown in the library videos for ENC1101 students.
