The University of Florida has extensive programs of teaching and research on the subject of Religion in the Americas. The Religion Department offers a specialization within the PhD program on Religion in the Americas, and the Center for Latin American Studies offers a Religion and Society specialization to students in its MA program. There is also an interdisciplinary research program on "Latino Immigrants in the New South: Lived Religion, Space and Power." More available in the departmental newsletter, available here.
