Faculty Governance at the University of Florida Libraries

Sabbatical Committee

Charge/Duties:

Review sabbatical packages, professional development leave applications and Faculty Enhancement Opportunity (FEO) proposals. Present recommendation letter to Director/Dean of Libraries. Fill out appropriate forms.

Membership:

• 4 members
• All must be tenured faculty members from the Smathers Libraries and sabbatical eligible
• 3 year terms

Meet as needed in Fall semester to review sabbatical and professional development leave applications. Meet following deadlines in Spring and Fall semesters as needed to review FEO proposals.
