Liaisons Boot Camp
(Draft)
- Orientation
type training would be offered on a regular interval (quarterly?) with 2 or
3 hour sessions each day for a week to complete the following (possibly
morning and afternoon sessions dependant upon participation).
- Schedule
would be broken down into 30 minute to 1 hour sub-sessions so liaisons
could attend for only necessary materials.
- Class
size would be limited to 5-10 per session (depending on the number of
hands-on machines available).
- Would
require 5-10 workstations to be accessed for hands-on exercises.
- In addition to this intensive week of training offered quarterly, monthly sessions will be offered in the more advanced areas.

Liaisons Review Process
In
order to meet the highlighted goals and expectations of the Liaisons Program, I
am proposing a quarterly liaison review.
This would be an informal performance review conducted by myself and
other Systems staff members to evaluate how those staff members designated as
liaisons are meeting the goals and expectations of the program. This review would be submitted to both the
liaison and his/her supervisor. The
intent would also be to provide the supervisor with a measure of how staff
members are meeting their job duty requirements.
Liaisons Expectations
- Number
of Syshelps this quarter
(not eval. criteria, but for info purposes only)
- Syshelp
procedures followed
- Accurate
equipment/port records provided
