I came to the Systems Department as the "Data Processing Control Specialist", in 1988. In 1994 I promoted within the department to my current title. As of this October I will have 21 years total service.

When I took the promotion we were mainly using FoxBase for Macintosh. Shortly there after it was decided that we change to PC. Some things were converted to FoxPro and are now being re-written in SQL/DELPHI. I took our Library Tape Management System from SAS on the mainframe to a PC version. There are other applications still in the works of coming off the Mac.

My main duties are to sit in my cubile, writing software application at this PC.

Do we have a life outside the Library?? You Better Believe We Do!! My sanity comes from my little girl, Goldie.picture of Goldie She is a 2 year old part Lab (looks like) and part Chow (attitude).
I have a collection of picture of PANDA PANDAS. From plates, to stamps, to cookie jar, to pez dispenser, key rings, a lamp, water globe/music box, and statues.

My main off hours life is picture of POW BOWLING. I bowl league year round and travel mostly within the state to tournaments. I have bowled in the Women's National tournament when they were in Salt Lake City, Tucson, and Reno. My partner and I placed in doubles in Salt Lake City and Tucson. Must have stayed up to late playing the slots in Reno.
