  1. How do I create a ‘retain forever’ folder?
  2. How do I forward my gatorlink email to my new UF Exchange account?
  3. What happens to my listserv memberships?

  6. How will we check our mail from Public Service Desk computers?
  7. What happens to shared mailboxes?
    A: First they will need to be re-added, but then they will work the same way as always. The email address for them will not change.
  8. How do I log into mail over the internet?
  9. What about Public Folders and User Groups?
    A: These will be migrated after the migration of all staff accounts. They should work the same, but you will be notified if this turns out not to be the case.
  10. How do I log onto my computer after the migration?
  11. Is there anything I need to do before this happens?
  12. How do I migrate my calendar?
  13. How do I set up my Outlook at home (or from a mobile device) to receive mail from the new UF Exchange account?
  14. What happens if I have mail in my inbox that is over a year old prior to the migration?
    A: Mail over a year old in the Inbox or Sent Items box should be backed up before the migration or it will be immediately deleted
  15. Are there size limits or not?
    A: Large amounts of mail should not be moved into your Mailbox at one time, otherwise there is no limit
  16. How do I add additional mailboxes or calendars that I am responsible for?
  17. How will the students sign on to workstations?
  18. Are the students being migrated at the same time?
    A: Yes
  19. How do I change my Gatorlink User ID?
    A: This can be done at the CIRCA Help Desk at the HUB
  20. How do I change/reset my Gatorlink Password?
  21. What is the date of the migration?
    A: We are planning to begin the process the evening of 28 January, and complete it a few hours later.
  22. What is the Barracuda Spam Filter on UFAD Exchange mail?
    A: Barracuda spam appliances will be used to keep email out of the UF Exchange system. Barracuda settings can be controlled by the user to provide more or less spam control using Bayesian filters;
  23. How will we access email from multiple or shared workstations?
    A: UFAD Webmail.
  24. What about printers?
    A: Connections to Printers will need to be added individually
  25. What will my new email address be?
    A: The same email address it is now. This will not change.
