The Map & Imagery Library currently has six computer workstations available for patron use. Patrons must sign on with the computer access number located on their Gator 1 card, or a temporary card obtained from the library circulation desk. All workstations are loaded with Windows XP. Three workstations are connected to scanners. There are two 11 X 17 inch scanners and one 8 1/2 by 11 inch scanner. These same workstations also have CD burners and USB ports. A color laser printer is available for printing. Prints are $1.00, and are 11 X 17 inches.
The Map & Imagery Library holds over 1586 CD ROMS. These include the spatial data in digital format provided to Regional Libraries under the United States Government Printing Office (GPO) Library Depository Program. Selected Landsat and SPOT images are also available as CD-ROM's.
