An 1846 map "Published under the Superintendance of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge". The S.D.U.K. produced a number of atlases and maps for journals during the 19th Century. This map "North America XIV Florida" is part of a set of 15 maps of Eastern North America. It was published by different printers between 1833-1874 . The Univ. of Florida 1846 copy was printed in London by Charles Knight & co. The engraving was done by J & C Walker. |
