Plagiarism and other forms of academic dishonesty are often very unexpected for an instructor. This section is designed to give the instructor the information and resources for dealing with such cases at UF.
- What is Plagiarism gives a brief overview of how plagiarism is defined, including the grey areas that can pose difficulties for students.
- UF Honor Code and Code Enforcement sections provide quick access to the formal text of the official honor code and steps for enforcing the code at UF.
- Syllabus Resources offers suggestions and links for writing a binding statement in your syllabus to make students aware that they will be held responsible for integrity violations.
- Ethics Cases contains links to pertinent academic integrity case studies involving science and engineering that can be used in class discussions or assignments. Some studies also include an accompanying analysis and discussion.
