Finding Articles Tutorial

How Do You Find an Article When You Already Have the Citation?

To find the electronic or print text of the article using an article citation, search the library catalog by the journal title. The journal title usually comes after the article title and usually it is italicized or underlined.

If UF does not own the journal you can request the item using our Interlibrary Loan.

If you are a distance learning student or a student affiliated with a Research & Education Center, we can mail items to your off-campus location. This includes items owned by UF and items borrowed from other libraries via Interlibrary Loan.
