AMA Physician Select provides basic professional information on virtually every licensed physician in the US and its possessions. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offers health and safety topics, news alerts, health statistics, resources for vital records, lots more. DoctorDirectory.com indicates physicians' specialties, certifications, and graduation year. FamilyDoctor.org from the American Academy of Family Physicians, provides "health information for the whole family" and includes "search by symptom" flowcharts. Go Ask Alice, from Columbia University's Health Education Program, provides information on health-related and sexuality topics in a Q&A format. healthfinder®, a service of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, offers consumer health and human services information. |
