FAO STATISTICS is the FAO statistics database portal covering production, trade, food balance sheets, food aid, fertilizers, pesticides, land use, irrigation, forest products, fisheries and agricultural machinery. It is available online from UF computers and as a CD-ROM at the Marston Science Library reference (HD9000.4.F36).
The UF Libraries Government Documents Department (MSL) is a depository for United Nations publications; however, Marston Science Library (MSL) contains the agriculture collections. FAO publications are therefore found at both the Government Documents and Science collections.
- FAO publications indexed by AGRIS International / AGRINDEX and that are owned by the UF Libraries should be listed in the UF Library Catalog as individual serials or books (use a title search to find the publication) (an author search using a=FAO can also be used).
- FAO publications indexed by the FAO Current Bibliography Index may also be found this way.
- FAO publications indexed by the FAO Cumulative Index (covering 1976-1989 documents distributed by FAO for its member countries) are located at the MSL Government Documents area in the microform cabinets. The microfiche set of publications are arranged by the FAO accession numbers used in this index. The microform index is located on top of the microform cabinets holding the FAO microfiche.
