• Music Library Storage Items

  Please be aware that many items, including bound periodicals (back issues of journals), have been moved to a storage facility.  The move was necessary to alleviate space and floor load issues in the Music Library.  These items have been noted in the online catalog.  

  • If you search online and find that an item has the location Request Retrieval STORAGE, you may request the item by clicking on "Request" next to the item description.  Items requested via this online form are generally ready for use within one (1) working day (not incl. weekends) of submission.  Pickup is at the Circulation Desk at Library West.  You may not be notified, but may call (352)273-2525 to check on availability before going to Library West. Items requested and retrieved but not picked up within five (5) days will be returned to storage.  Feel free to see a library staff member if you have questions regarding this or any other library matter.
  • The UF Libraries subscribe to many online databases which contain music/performing arts journals.  It is possible that the full-text journal article you need may be available online.  To search for online articles, click here.
