Libraries offer free orientations
The George A. Smathers Libraries offers free, walk-in orientations to the UF libraries. All sessions are held in Marston Science Library, room L107, on the ground floor. No registration is needed. Participants should bring their Gator-1 card to use the computers.
Learn which library to use, what library services are available, how to use the libraries from home, where to get help when needed, and take a library tour to find out how it’s arranged. All subject areas are covered.

Presenting the 10th Library: The Electronic Library
Use the libraries from home or wherever you have access to the Internet. Learn about the web-based Catalog, Indexes and online Articles, the Database Locator, E-books and Journals, and how to take advantage of e-services such as online book retrieval and Interlibrary Loan. Come to Marston Science Library, room L-107, at the following time. All subject areas are covered. No registration needed. Bring your Gator-1 card.
