Libraries introduce name-a-book for graduates
The UF Libraries has introduced a program that will give relatives and friends of graduating seniors an opportunity to name a book in the graduate’s honor. For $94, the libraries will select one new book to add to the catalog in the spring of 2007 in a chosen area.
The libraries will then place a bookplate on the front inside cover with the graduate’s name on it. Additionally, his or her name will also appear in the libraries’ online catalog and can always be found by checking the Web site at http://uf.aleph.fcla.edu/F.
We are happy to have this chance to honor graduates in such a tangible way. We urge you to name a book in the libraries to congratulate your graduating senior. Just complete and return the book order form found at http://www.uflib.ufl.edu/pio/temp/name-a-book_color.pdf. When the graduate returns to the University of Florida, he or she can look up your book and reminisce about the wonderful years at UF.
