Food Guidelines for Staff

1. Consumption of food and drink is not allowed when working with library materials and equipment or at a public-service or publicly visible desk.
2. Parties should be held in staff lounges.
3. Whenever food or drink is brought into the library (i.e. lunches or for occasional parties), it is to be concealed.
4. Whenever there is a party, a central trash receptacle will be provided for disposal of cups, plates, etc. which have come into contact with food or drink.  One person will be assigned to monitor clean-up and dispose of receptacle contents, outside, immediately following the party.
